My name is Gemma Calveras.

I was born in la Pobla de Lillet, in the Pyrenees. 

I came to Girona in order to study at the university. 

And do you know what happened? 

I fell in love with Girona!

Girona means a lot to me: half of my life. I’ve lived here for 20 years and I hope there are many more!

At the University of Girona I graduated in Tourism.

I’ve traveled to many countries and lived in United Kingdom, Belgium and Germany.

I first worked as an accompanying guide for Catalonia, Spain, France, Switzerland, Germany, etc. 

Then little by little I devoted myself to becoming a local guide.

I am a tour guide specialized in Girona and its region.

I have 15 years’ experience as a local guide and it is what I like to do the most. 

My goal is that my clients enjoy the experience to the fullest.

2 curiosities about me:

I love coffe milk!

When I was a child, I wanted to be a teacher. When I was young I wanted to become an actress.

And… I became Official Tourist Guide of Catalonia.
